FRANZ XAVER BERGMAN: an impressive Austrian “Vienna” cold-painted BRONZE FIGURE of a bearded Arab Warrior. He stands, wearing a traditional long Arab dress (thawb or dishdashah) and cape, a pistol tucked into his striped belt (perhaps a keffiyeh) with an ancient long musket across his shoulders. The base is impressed with the Bergman mark and the word “Geschultz”. 20cms high. circa 1900.
