Description

A fine original croquet set comprising four ash mallets with octagonal handles, four coloured balls in standard croquet colours, six iron hoops, two winning posts with coloured bands, small mallet, and four coloured sprung clips. All used but in superb condition. (The top of one of the winning posts has a piece broken off, but these top removable sections are usually missing)

The original well-made pine box has iron carrying handles and fitments to hold the pieces securely in transit. It is in untouched condition and bears the stamp on the front and lid of A.W.Gamage Ltd of London.
