Antique Black Forest cigar humidor, from the late 19th or early 20th century. This hand-carved wooden box from German Black Forest region, featuring a charming and detailed relief of a rustic cottage or chalet. The lid opens to reveal the well-preserved interior, which contains a removable tray with circular compartments specifically designed to hold and protect a dozen cigars. The heavy, solid construction and tight-fitting lid were essential for maintaining the ideal humidity. This piece serves not only as a functional humidor but also as a beautiful decorative object, perfect for a collector of Black Forest carvings, antique smoking accessories, or unique folk art.
