Large English Sterling Silver Trefoil Shell Serving Dish 1900 Harrison Brothers & Howson

A superb fine quality late Victorian sterling silver trefoil shape serving dish for sweetmeats or nuts etc. Scallop shell formed bowls, two larger and one slightly smaller and a curved reeded handle with bun finial. Hallmarked for Sheffield 1900, maker George Howson (Harrison Brothers & Howson).
 
A stunning addition to the dining table or as a centrepiece on a sideboard.
 
It measures 23.5cm (9 1/4'') by 24.5cm (9 5/8'') wide and 10cm (4'') high. It weighs 455g / 14.6ozt.
 
In excellent condition with no damage, dents or repairs and minor handing wear.
