Rare 18th century sliver sauce label for “Cayon”. Kidney shaped with bead decoration t the edge makers mark for Thomas Hyde who entered his mark in 1784. Sauce Labels by John Slater refers to a set made by Thomas Hyde page 103 circa 1785.
