A sculptural early Coalport pot with cover, richly decorated in the Coalbrookdale style. Painted botanical panels—roses, anemones and other garden flowers—are combined with hand-modelled applied blooms, giving the piece its distinctive three-dimensional surface. The entwined handles, domed lid and floral finial form a balanced Regency silhouette. The underglaze cobalt “C Dale” mark is an early Coalbrookdale abbreviation recorded only on a small group of ornamental pieces.
