Technical Description
An exceptionally rare 18th century Jacobite sympathy glass perfume bottle dating to c1760.
It has its original solid ball stopper, the wide teardrop bottle engraved on both sides with a wild six petal rose, foliage, sprigs and a Jay bird at the top.
Almost identical engravings to those seen on mid 18th century Jacobite sympathy wine glasses. This is the first example we have seen on a perfume bottle.
