Jacobean Carved Oak Refectory Table

A Jacobean Carved Oak Refectory Table.  This wonderful piece of furniture dates from the reign of James 1st (1567-1625).  It has a lunette carved frieze below the top and stands on bolster legs with carved leaf decoration on block feet, with stability provided by two stretchers.
 
Perfect for a large kitchen, dining room or entrance hall and will seat 6-8 people comfortably.
 
In original condition with solid joints and with signs of wear and tear as would be expected with age and use.
