Description

Two elegant matching silver dress or fur clips which can be worn separately or joined together to wear as a single substantial brooch with the "duette" fitting. The old-cut pastes (imitation diamonds) are beautifully bright and sparkly, well matched in colour with lovely crisp facets.

The clips are stamped SCP STERLING - a mark used by Ciro of Bond Street (London, founded 1917) for their high-quality range of sterling silver costume jewellery.

SIZE: 5.5 x 2.3cm.

WEIGHT: 23.9g.

MATERIALS: 925 sterling silver, paste gemstones.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: SCP STERLING 23 on both clips.

CONDITION: Excellent antique/vintage condition, all pastes are present with no obvious replacements.

ERA: Late Art Deco (c.1930s).
