Antique 19th Century English brass & cast iron doorstop / door porter in the form of a horse stepping out on an ogee shaped plinth. All in very good antique condition with a lovely patina. Dated circa 1860.
 
This doorstop would work equally well as a decorative object in its own right, adorning a shelf or propping up a stack of books. The perfect gift for horse lovers / equestrians or hunting enthusiasts.
