This piece is made from solid 18ct gold and has a wonderful ''buttery'' yellow gold tone that exudes Victorian elegance and opulence.
The heart locket has been meticulously hand-engraved with the most splendid scrolled acanthus motifs which not only reflect light wonderfully but also display the high level of goldsmithing and craftsmanship of the period.
With a timeless and romantic and sweet design, it can be worn on a variety of clothes, whether it be a blouse for the summer or on top of a turtleneck in the cooler seasons.
The reverse side presents a glass back locket which can be unmounted to insert a photo.
