Beautiful vintage silver Georg Jensen brooch c1933-44
This beautiful sterling silver brooch has a scallop edge frame with a swirl design of leaves and berries with pierced openings in the centre. The polished surfaces are lightly hammered giving the brooch more texture. A lovely piece by the renowned jewellery maker Georg Jensen.
The back of the brooch has the makers mark for Georg Jensen and Sterling Denmark 20. This particular GJ mark was used from 1933-44. The brooch has a good fastening pin on the back that works well.
A highly collectible and wearable piece for lovers of Jensen jewellery.
In very good vintage condition. Measurements: Diameter 4.3 cm Weight 17 grams
