Antique Persian Heriz rug of scarce small size. The rug is beautifully drawn with a small central medallion in green on a soft brick red ground.
Circa 1900/20.
The rug has soft wool, and superb colours including butterscotch and light blue used in the corners. This is an outstanding furnishing rug that would work well in a country house alongside antique furniture.
The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and medium pile.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic floor use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
