Quality English Victorian antique solid sterling silver chop serving tongs. They are hallmarked for London 1846 with the maker being Joseph & Albert Savory. They have been superbly made being to what is termed Queens pattern and are highly sprung and in good working order. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. They measure approx. 9.5 inches (24.1cm) long by 0.75 inch (1.8cm) wide and they weigh 114 grams. Quality examples.
