Antique Pine Chest of Drawers

A charming antique pine chest of drawers. The piece features a boarded top, four graduated drawers with traditional cup handles paired with round escutcheons. The chest sits on a plinth base and has been finished with a fresh coat of natural wax. Overall a very pleasing example.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition with a warm, even colour throughout. Some signs of age, including surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches throughout the piece. Evidence of historic woodworm, long gone and treated as a precaution to the top and sides. There are visible splits to both sides but these are not structural and do not detract from the overall appeal of the piece. All drawers run smoothly, a solid and sound piece ready for everyday use.
