Tin-glazed earthenware is a type of pottery coated with a lead glaze containing tin oxide, producing an opaque white surface suitable for detailed hand-painted decoration. Developed historically in various European regions, including the Netherlands, France, and Britain, it became prominent during the 17th and 18th centuries under regional names such as Delftware and Faience.
