Description

An exquisite quality, large art deco period cut glass scent bottle with a hinged sterling silver lid set with a stunning striped guilloche enamel in royal blue and jade green. The glass body has very fine all over engraved decoration of daisy flowers on a sinuous flowing vine with facet cut leaves. The daisies have an acid etched texture to the petals and cross-hatched centres. A running leaf border runs around the bottom. Original inner glass stopper with polished knop. Full English hallmarks for Birmingham 1924.

It measures 14.5cm (5 3/4") high and 8.5cm (3 3/8") wide. It weighs 326g.

In superb condition with no damage or repair and minimal handling wear. No scratches or nicks to the glass and the enamel is perfect. A really stunning and very special piece.
