Regency Rosewood Nest of Three Tables, C.1820

Description

A Regency nest of three tables in beautifully figured rosewood, dating to circa 1820. Each table features a well-patinated rectangular top with a moulded edge, supported on elegant ring-turned supports of slender proportions. The legs are united by stretchers and stand on delicate sabre-shaped feet, typical of the refined aesthetic of the early 19th century.

The set slides neatly together, offering flexible use as occasional, side or lamp tables. The colour is rich and warm, with excellent grain and a pleasing antique surface.
