Dickinsons Antiques has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
The interior has two shelves and two small drawers, behind which are further secret compartments. A square-field panel to the bottom door featuring the same inlaid decoration to the corners opening to a single shelf.
Fabulous condition retaining the original engraved brass hinges to both doors, interior drawers and escutcheon to the top door. All the shelves are original, though one is missing.
A couple of small repairs to the feet and a bottom board replaced.
