Leather Topped Kneehole Desk - Eight Drawers - c1900
The desk is crafted in mahogany with the original dark Oxford green leather skiver to the writing surface.
The desk rides upon elegantly shaped cabriole legs to the front which add a certain lightness to the piece visually.
Benefitting from four full depth drawers to the main body and a further four within the galleried upper section the desk offers plenty of practicality. The piece is deeper than is typical and therefore offers a large writing surface with useful space to accomodate papers and a laptop with ease.
Overall this piece of furniture is in very good condition. The desk is well constructed and very solid. The drawers are strong and operate freely. The leather skiver is in fine original order.
