Victorian Large Coopered Oak and Brass Jug

Description

Circa late 1800's - 1900. A well made coopered oak jug, with a large brass handle. Ideal for display purposes.

It measures 39cm in height, 36cm across the middle including the handle, and the base is 28cm in diameter.

The handle is 26.5cm in length and 9cm in width.

The jug weighs 3.1kgs and the weight and size has been taken into account in the price for UK mainland deliveries only. For outside areas or delivery abroad please contact us for a quote. Thank you.

The oak may once have been stained or painted and we’ve made no attempt to restore the colour. The wooden slats are secure in the three bands of brass around the jug.
