Description

An Edwardian inlaid Sheraton revival ladies bow fronted writing table or desk. The top having a superstructure with pierced brass gallery, satinwood banding and 2 banks of 2 drawers with further inlay and brass pulls between an inlaid panel. The writing surface having a hand dyed green leather which has traditional blind and gold tooling set within an inlaid satinwood border. Below is a bow fronted drawer flanked by 2 conforming inlaid drawers and all having mahogany linings, original brass swan neck handles. The whole raised on square tapering legs with boxwood stinging and brass casters. Condition- Very good and ready for use. Dimensions:- Max.Height…37.5''/ 95cm. Writing Height…28.75’’/ 73cm. Width…42''/ 107cm. Depth...22''/ 56cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £50.
