Bronze Young Bacchanalian By Boucher

Late 19th century French patinated bronze by Alfred Boucher (1850-1934) of a seated young bacchanalian. Depicted in the manner of Clodion holding a fruiting vine in one hand and a wine cup in the other, the bronze is signed ''Boucher'' to the base. Presented on a Rouge Griotte marble socle base with an ormolu accent beaded trim. French, circa 1880.
