Vintage 0.40 Carat Old Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, Circa 1925

Description

An impressive and unique vintage diamond ring. The old European cut in the centre – gauged as weighing approximately 0.32 carat – is rubover set in milgrained platinum. Eight platinum spokes suspend the diamond in the centre, with eight eight-cut diamond set in the border. The platinum top of the ring sits on a 18k yellow gold gallery, leading to a slim D-shaped 18k gold shank.

Cut: Old European cut in the centre, with eight-cuts in the surround.

Colour: The centre is G. The surrounding diamond are G to H.

Clarity: The centre is SI2. The surrounding diamonds are VS1 to VS2.

Carat: The centre is approximately 0.32 carat, with further approximate 0.08 carat in the surround.

Circa: 1925.

Size: M (UK) or 6 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements: The head of the 14.1 x 14.4mm and sits 7.2mm from the finger.

Weight: 5.55 grams.

Metal: 18k yellow gold and platinum. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
