A Large 18th Century Delft Tankard.

A large 18th century Dutch manganese delft tankard, the front decorated with a rampant horse in blue and white and the background having a speckled finish. The base band and lid are made from pewter with a lovely little love heart on the handle, the lid is engraved with H.Hot 1753, the tankard is a little earlier with the pewter marks dated 1745.
 
The tankard is in immaculate condition for its age and there are no chips or cracks.
