Antique Edwardian locket, the locket is crafted in 9ct gold, with fine engraving to the front and reverse, the exquisitely engraved front with a clear heart shape cartouche, with a repouse surround edging, the scroll shape bale is double sided, the locket to be worn both sides, locket dates Chester 1916, measures 35 mm with bale x 23.5 mm, the locket is in very good condition, only very light signs of use, opens and closes with a good click, still with original frame, I expect only worn on a Sunday for best, as they did in Edwardian times, fully hallmarked 9ct gold for Chester 1916, the weight is a good 3.9 grams, super quality locket, comes in a luxury box.
