A George IV, Regency period, mahogany cupboard bookcase. This elegant piece has an outswept pediment over a pair of Gothic arched astragal glazed doors, behind which are three full-width shelves and a baize-lined base. The cupboard section has a reeded edge, below which is a full-length frieze drawer with brass lion''s head ring pull handles. Below the drawer is a double-door cupboard with two baize-lined shelves. Raised on a base with reeded edging and bracket feet.The overall condition is very good with age-related wear and tear.
