Pair of Arts & Crafts Copper & Wrought Iron Plant Holders C.1890

Description

Fine pair of late 19th.c. Arts and Crafts copper and wrought iron plant holders c.1890. Copper pots with flared tops and repoussé or chased reeding. Measuring 7½" diameter at the lip and 5¼" at the narrowest point inside. With their original wrought iron holders featuring beautifully twisted and curved frames and feet and decorated with lovely flower and leaf detail at the sides. Note also the little flower head at the centre. With a few minor dents to the copper and missing one leaf from the decoration on one of the holders. Otherwise excellent condition.
