A Beautiful Burr Walnut and Mahogany Pedestal Desk. Circa 1880.

Description

This fine english burr walnut pedestal desk is an excellent 'country house look' piece.

The beautifully aged burr walnut has superb colour and patination and the original leather inset skiver has had a full and busy life but retains a great 'look'.

The modesty panel also retains the original leather insets with gilding line.

Hand turned polished english walnut knobs to all drawers.

11 drawers, all fully mahogany lined and of the utmost quality. All original casters concealed in carved circular feet below.

This excellent desk is of very practical proportions and in good condition. Delivery can be arranged.
