19th Century Mahogany Inlaid Games Table By Edwards & Roberts

A fine quality 19th-century mahogany inlaid card and games table by the renowned makers Edwards & Roberts.
 
The serpentine fold-over top is richly recorated with marquetry of floral and foliate motifs, together with a central panel of putti. When opened, the table reveals a circular baize-lined playing surface with four fitted counter trays. Standing on square tapering legs with further marquetry inlay and original castors.
 
A beautifully detailed example of Edwards & Roberts craftsmanship, suitable for collectors and for an elegant period interior.
