The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the onion winding crown and the fixed wire lugs. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside all three covers for London (import mark), 1912, together with a sponsor’s mark for Charles Nicolet, initially one of the partners and subsequently the owner of Stauffer & Co. The case is in good condition. Enamel filled Roman numerals to the front, surrounding a central lens.

The inner dial is in beautiful condition with original pin-set hands and a minute track to enable accurate time setting.
The watch has a vintage leather strap, and it all comes in a new presentation box.
