Pinefinders has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The wardrobe stands on large bun feet at the front and square block feet at the back — a typical design feature of the period.

Small metal escutcheons sit over the key plates, and the whole piece is clean and tidy. It was originally painted but has since been stripped, so it is currently in bare wood.
Inside, you’ll find hanging pegs along the back (two are missing, which can be replaced if you’d like). At the base, there is a shelf with two drawers that appear to be later additions. This section simply lifts out, so if you prefer the traditional footwell, it can be removed easily.

As with all of our wardrobes, a new brass hanging rail can be fitted at the top. If the shelf and drawer unit is removed, you’ll gain extra hanging height. A new shelf with a rail beneath can also be added if preferred (shelves are £40 each).

This wardrobe completely dismantles for delivery, so it should go up any stairway without difficulty. Delivery is usually available directly from us depending on your location, or by courier if needed.

The internal depth is 19.5", measured from the back to the inside of the doors, making it suitable for hanging coats, jackets, and larger garments.
Price: £900 as it is, or £997 if you’d like it waxed. Both prices include the fitting of a new brass hanging rail if required.
Dimensions: height 83", width 62", depth 25", internal depth 19.5" (approximately 211 cm x 157 cm x 64 cm, internal depth 50 cm).
