A fine sapphire and diamond cluster from from the latter part of the 20th century. The bright, light cornflower blue sapphire in the centre - certified as natural, unheated and originating from Ceylon (Sri Lanka) - is claw set in white gold, and surrounded by twelve high-white round brilliant cut diamonds. Swooping ''U'' shaped detailing in the gallery leads to fleur-de-lis shoulders to a grooved 18k yellow gold shank.
Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from WGI, stating the sapphire is unheated and originated from Sri Lanka (Ceylon).
Cut: Oval cut sapphire and round brilliant cut diamonds.
Colour: The sapphire is light violet-ish blue. The diamonds range from G to H.
Clarity: The sapphire is eye-clean. The diamonds range from VS1 to VS2.
Carat: The sapphire is approximately 2.30 carat, with a total approximately diamond weight of 0.35 carat.
