A superb 19th-century French ormolu and white marble clock garniture of exceptional sculptural quality.
The central mantle clock is surmounted by two finely cast cherub figures — both modelled in crisp, heavy gilt bronze with beautiful depth, chisel work and detailing throughout.
The clock is supported on a stepped white marble base with acanthus leaf mounts, floral swags and gilt-bronze ornamentation.
The pair of matching five-branch candelabra each feature seated cherubs holding naturalistic foliate candlestick stems, all executed in rich, original ormolu.
This is a statement-level decorative set — ideal for an over-mantel, console table, formal dining room or a collector of high-quality French bronzes.
