An antique Edwardian sterling silver oval box which has a large plain oval shaped box and a tight fitting hinged lid. The box can be opened by squeezing the sides of the body and it has been designed to keep the contents airtight. The interior has also been nicely gilded. This is a fine example and would make a useful addition to a collection. It remains in excellent condition.
