A matte white dial with faceted 'arrowhead' hour markers and Arabic numerals to the quarters. Signed to the dial 'Smiths Everest Automatic' and 'made in England' to 6 o'clock. The hours and minutes are indicated by gilt hands, along with the classic Smiths signature of a red tipped seconds hand.

A solid 9K gold case with slim lugs, champfered to the edges which still retains its their sharp edging. A fairly deep case body, with a snap on case back showing a long service award for 1967. The case bears the makers mark of SCW for Smiths Clocks and Watches, as well as an Edinburgh gold hallmark for 1966.

The watch is powered by a 25 jewel Smiths caliber 10144G, from their Imperial range. Hallmarks show the production date for this watch as 1966.
