English School 18th Century Portrait Miniature Of A Gentleman Dated 1761

A superb 18th century oval portrait miniature of a gentleman in a green jacket with gold trim. The miniature is cased a silvered frame which is surrounded by paste stones. A couple of the stones have lost their sparkle, but all the stones are there. The miniature comes with a long silvered chain. It is monogrammed ''H.,N.'' and dated 1761. There is an entry in Daphne Foskett''s ''Portrait Miniature'' reference book which is attached with the images. The miniature measures 3.5cm x2.5 cm and is in good condition.
