Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
Upholstered in a good quality blue/turquoise velour type fabric. In good condition very solid and sturdy, would make a wonderful pair of side chairs. The seat rails are stamped “T.Drury” and one has the makers label which reads: “Manufactured by W. JOHNSON 82 and 84 FARGATE SHEFFIELD”.
