This exquisite solitaire ring centres on a magnificent old cushion-cut diamond, displaying the soft fire and character seen only in early stones. Gemmological report by Birmingham Assay Office, the diamond measures approximately 7.23mm × 6.26mm × 4.10mm and weighs 1.3 carats. It is graded I–J colour with SI clarity, impressive qualities for an old cut and wonderfully bright on the hand.

The diamond is set in a refined white gold crown with a classic ten-claw setting that holds the stone securely while allowing maximum light to pass through. It rises 7.5mm above the finger, giving a graceful and elegant profile.

The stone itself dates to the Victorian period, that has been reset in a 18ct yellow gold shank, creating a harmonious blend of antique charm and modern craftsmanship.

This ring weighs 3.61 grams and is a UK size M½, easily resized. It is offered in exceptional condition and presented in the box illustrated. A truly striking piece that looks superb on the finger.
