This high-quality piece is constructed from Mahogany that showcases its original French Polished finish with a rich, deep colour and is presented in excellent, home-ready condition. It is an ideal and elegant accomplice for a piano, offering unique and stylish storage for sheet music, periodicals, or filing.
The cabinet retains its original 'Stones Patent' drop-down mechanism to each drawer front. This allows the internal trays to fold forward smoothly upon opening, providing easy and quick access to the contents. The exterior design is classic of the Art Nouveau period, featuring five moulded drawer fronts complemented by original copper plated dropper handles. The cabinet stands gracefully on elegant Sqare tapering legs culminating to a pad foot with a shaped frieze between. The cabinet has lovely panelled sides, while the top has a lovely deep drop moulding and rear upstand.

It is ready to enhance any period or eclectic property. While minor surface blemishes are present and consistent with genuine antique age, we feel these only add to the charm and provenance of this beautiful and practical piece. All of the joints are solid, the drawers are working smoothly and are very clean inside.
