This is a superb watercolour by the well listed artist Alfred Glendening Jr who lived from 1861 - 1907. the painting shows the river near Arundel with some sheep being led along a track and Arundel Castle in the background.
The painting has retained all of it bright colours and is in superb condition.
His paintings have appeared numerous times at auction and regularly fetch £1000 plus. Although this a relatively small example it is full of detail and beautifully painted.
