Title - Telemachus, Mentor and Calypso are seated at a table. Surrounding Calypso are her nymphs.
 
Medium - Watercolour on paper late 18th century
 
Artist - unknown (but the artist who executed the drawing for the book was Charles Monnet 1732 - 1808 and the engraver of this image was Jean Baptiste Tilliard 1740 - 1813)

This is a very interesting late 18th century watercolour, executed by a very capable hand, the drawing is a scene from Telemachus and is either by Charles Monnet 1738 - 1808 or after Jean Baptiste Tilliard who engraved the image for the book which was published in Paris in 1785
 
Condition is very good with no loss of colour, it is mounted in high quality modern window mount and framed.
