Art Deco 1.02 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, Circa 1930

Description

An impressive vintage diamond engagement ring. The old mine cut diamond in the centre is incredibly white and internally clean. The stone is secured by six platinum claws with an open gallery and above a scalloped back plate, allowing maximum light into the diamond. Six (three each side) icy baguette cut diamonds are set in the shoulders, leading to a slim platinum shank.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from WGI.

Cut: Old mine cut in the centre with baguette cuts in the shoulders.

Colour: The centre is G. The diamonds in the shoulders range from G to H.

Clarity: The centre is VS1. The diamonds in the shoulders range from VS1 to VS2.

Carat: The centre is 1.02 carat, with a further approximate 0.30 carat in the shoulders.

Circa: 1930.

Size: L 1/2 (UK) or 5 7/8 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements: The centre diamond is 6.91 x 6.43mm. The ring is 9.4mm at the widest point and sits 6.5mm from the finger.

Weight: 4.42 grams.

Metal: Platinum. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
