Half Depth Bentwood Hatstand by Fischel C.1910

Description

Unusual half depth example of the classic bentwood hat stand by the Czechoslovakian makers Fischel c.1910. Designed to stand flat against a wall, with four double hooks on a shaped column with a turned finial at the top. On a wide tripod base with a hoop stay for sticks and umbrellas. Paper label for Fischel on the underside of the base. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
