A very fine, handmade, French gilt brass and Champleve enamel antique footed encrier or inkwell features an inkpot with scalloped handles and a removable lid with an acorn finial top. Inkwell is richly decorated in colorful, jewel toned Champleve enamel with a delicate, Asian-inspired floral pattern and black trim.
