An English fusee dial clock. A 12" painted dial signed 'Matthews Bridport' with a brass bezel. A mahogany case with concave and convex mouldings. An 8-day duration timepiece fusee mechanism.

William Matthews of Bridport is recorded in The Dorset Clockmakers Book as working 1871-1907 (Father and Son).
