Description

A lovely chunky bracelet with polished links of malachite capped in sterling silver. The bracelet secures with a matching shield-shaped padlock set with malachite, the back engraved with a Scottish thistle.

SIZE: The bracelet is approximately eight and a half inches long (22cm); the padlock measures 4 x 1.8cm.

WEIGHT: 52.4g.

MATERIALS: 925 sterling silver, malachite.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Both the bracelet and the padlock are stamped 925.

CONDITION: In excellent antique condition with normal surface wear; the padlock opens and closes nicely and there are no chips or cracks to the malachite.

ERA: Estimated late Victorian (c.1880-1901).
