An exuberant mixed-media painting depicting a profusion of pink and crimson blossoms in a summer garden. The artist has layered watercolour, gouache and possibly pastel to create a richly textured surface, blending impressionist brushwork with delicate botanical detail.

Unsigned but confidently painted, this work recalls the style of early-20th-century garden painters such as George Samuel Elgood and Claude Hayes.

Presented in a beautifully patinated gilt and marbled frame.
