A beautifully atmospheric early 20th-century oil on canvas depicting a vase of daffodils arranged on a green-draped table. Painted with a delicate touch and subtle colour harmony, the work captures the freshness and optimism of spring in the years following the Great War.

Signed and dated Beatrice Poole 1919 on the reverse and presented in a later gilt-wood frame with moulded detail.

Condition: Minor age-related craquelure and surface wear; overall very good condition.
