Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Sheraton Revival furniture emerged in the late 19th century, drawing inspiration from Thomas Sheratons late 18th-century neoclassical designs. Key traits include slim, straight tapered legs, delicate marquetry or satinwood stringing, and balanced, restrained proportions.

Craftsmen primarily utilised high-grade mahogany or satinwood veneers, often highlighted with boxwood and ebony stringing. Metal fittings, such as lion mask ring handles and gallery rails, were typically fashioned from polished brass.

Authentic pieces from the late Victorian or Edwardian eras demonstrate refined joinery, such as hand-cut dovetail joints inside drawers. Look for neoclassical inlay work, square tapered legs, and period-appropriate brass hardware.

Position the piece against a neutral wall to contrast with the warm mahogany timber. Pair the traditional structure with modern artwork or clean-lined contemporary ceramics on the top surface.

Dust the wood regularly with a soft, lint-free cloth and apply a clear beeswax polish periodically to retain moisture. Position the piece away from direct heat sources and direct sunlight to prevent timber warping and finish fading.
